Credit Suisse moves US futures head to prime services

John Dabbs to replace Jeffrey Jennings as head of prime derivatives services.

Credit Suisse has named John Dabbs global head of prime derivatives services, according to a memo seen by The Trade Derivatives.

He replaces Jeffrey Jennings, who was named the Swiss bank’s European head of prime services.

Dabbs previously served as US head of futures and OTC clearing for Credit Suisse in New York. He will report to Mike Paliotta, head of global prime services.

“John has served as a key subject matter expert on numerous regulatory issues and has leveraged his strong client, regulator and clearinghouse relationships to build the top ranked Interest Rate Swap and Credit Default Swap clearing business in the US,” Paliotta said in the memo.

A spokesperson for Credit Suisse confirmed the contents of the memo.
