Ex-Citi strategist joins boutique asset manager

Graham Bishop joins Heartwood Investment Management as an investment director.

A former global macro strategist at Citi has joined specialist boutique firm, Heartwood Investment Management, as an investment director.

Graham Bishop has been tasked with leading tactical asset allocation and managing the multi-asset trading strategies at the boutique buy-side firm.

Bishop joined Citi in December 2014 and designed short and longer-term cross-asset trades and ideas for the bank.

Prior to his time at Citi, he worked at Exane BNP Paribas for over two years and RBS for almost four years and was responsible for European equity strategy research at both institutions.

Noland Carter, chief investment officer at Heartwood Investment Management, explained Bishop will play a crucial role as the firm continues to evolve its approach to multi-asset investing.

Bishop added Heartwood Investment Management has “an impressive and well-established client base and a strong investment track record.”
