US hedge funds Pier 88 Investment Partners, Zeo Capital Advisors and Solstein Capital have deployed LiquidityBook’s POEMS platform.
LiquidityBook’s portfolio, order and execution management system platform - known as POEMS - includes risk management and reporting for global multi-asset trading.
Pier 88’s chief operating officer, Jackie Fertitta, explained the platform - used to manage trading across four of its funds - was integrated to one fund in just two days.
“The deployment process for an OEMS can be arduous and time-consuming… The LiquidityBook support team, however, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire implementation,” she said.
Zeo Capital Advisors - which manages a long-only, fixed income mutual fund - said the LiquidityBook platform is one of its only infrastructure components not built in-house.
Solstein Capital implemented the POEMS platform for its existing hedge fund and its new long-only strategy launched in the fourth quarter last year.
In December last year, LiquidityBook teamed up with FactSet to integrate real-time global exchange reference and benchmark data into the POEMS platform.
The integration allows the platform’s users to access intraday holdings and portfolio analytics and optimisation tools.
