Technology vendors Interactive Data and Atrium Network have expanded their global market data distribution as the demand for low-latency information increases internationally.

Financial market data and analytics provider Interactive Data’s Managed Solutions group has partnered with Turkish data supplier Matriks Bilgi Dagitim Hizmetleri to develop and distribute financial information services for the Turkish market.

Meanwhile, Atrium Network, a financial connectivity provider, has linked to US stock exchanges Nasdaq OMX and the International Securities Exchange (ISE) to provide its clients with market data from both.

Matriks will initially redistribute PrimeTerminal, Interactive Data’s customisable financial desktop solution, in Turkey and neighbouring countries. It also plans to develop customised solutions for Turkish financial institutions hosted on Interactive Data’s market data platform, which consolidates financial information from 200 global suppliers.

PlusFeed, Interactive Data’s low-latency data feed, already provides international market data for Matriks’ customer applications.

“By combining Interactive Data’s broad range of global financial data and extensive international experience in designing customised financial solutions with Matriks’ comprehensive local knowledge and expertise, we aim to more effectively serve the Turkish market,” said Carsten Dirks, managing director, Interactive Data Managed Solutions, in a statement.

“By applying our combined experience and capabilities, we will be able to offer innovative financial information solutions that are customised to help meet our clients’ specific needs,” added Berkant Oral, general manager at Matriks Data.

Atrium will use its low-latency network to distribute the ISE’s depth of market feed, allowing customers to view the aggregated volume of all quotes and orders available at each of the top five price levels for options that trade on the exchange.

“Connectivity to ISE will enable our clients to access options market data whilst benefiting from a simple highly-resilient, flexible point of connectivity,” said Emmanuel Carjat, CEO, Atrium Network.

The connectivity firm has also made Nasdaq Basic, Nasdaq OMX’s lower-cost alternative to its Level 1 data offering, available on its network.

Nasdaq Basic offers quote and trade data for Nasdaq-traded equity securities, including Nasdaq, NYSE and NYSE Amex-listed stocks.

Atrium co-locates with trading venues, which it claims helps clients avoid the capital expenditure required to co-locate with every venue and mitigate the risk of any unnecessary investment in a climate of potential venue consolidation.
