BNY ConvergEx, a US-based agency brokerage and investment technology provider, has expanded its direct market access (DMA) offering to five emerging-market exchanges.

Clients now have the ability to electronically access Nasdaq Dubai, Indonesia Stock Exchange, Taiwan Stock Exchange and China’s Shanghai and Shenzen stock exchanges using ConvergEx’s connections.

The markets can be accessed via any ConvergEx-supported front-end trading system, including all major order and execution management platforms.

“These new connections keep our clients at the forefront of rapidly growing and increasingly important emerging marketplaces. Our clients appreciate the unique investment opportunities these markets offer as well as the ease of access our connections provide,” said William Capuzzi, president of ConvergEx’s G-Trade Services, in a statement.

BNY ConvergEx now offers DMA connections to 65 trading venues around the world and grants clients access to over 110 global markets through its portfolio and sales trading businesses.
