ITG has appointed Michael Onofrio, formerly of JP Morgan, as director of the US electronic coverage team.
Onofrio leaves the role of executive director of JP Morgan’s European equities electronic coverage team in London to take up the new positon in New York.
He has ten years of experience in financial services, primarily at JP Morgan where he also spent time as a vice president of electronic trading. He began his career as an analyst at Bear Sterns.
Last year, ITG appointed its new CEO from JP Morgan, poaching Frank Troise to the role.
