Tullett Prebon announces leadership for TP-ICAP

Tullett Prebon has named a new EMEA CEO following the retirement of Angus Wick.

Tullett Prebon has announced the members for its joint global brokering business with ICAP.

Frits Vogels, European chief executive of ICAP, will head up the TP-ICAP business for EMEA, with James Potter, Tullett Prebon’s newly appointed EMEA CEO, acting as deputy CEO of TP-ICAP EMEA.

Potter succeeds Angus Wink, who decided to retire after serving 26 years at Tullett Prebon.

The group COO for TP-ICAP has yet to be named, after ICAP’s global COO Ken Pigaga refused to take on the role once the voice brokering business becomes part of Tullett Prebon.

“I am very pleased to announce the Global Executive Committee structure, which will come into effect subject to the successful closing of the TP ICAP transaction later this year,” said John Phizackerley, chief executive of Tullett Prebon.

“Tullett Prebon and ICAP and their associated brands will remain separate and will continue to compete.”
