Zeliade Systems integrates Markit Group CDS data into its derivatives analytics service

Derivatives software firm Zeliade Systems says it has integrated Markit Group Limited’s Credit Default Swap (CDS) pricing into its flagship product Zeliade Credit Analytics. Markit provides data, portfolio valuations and OTC derivatives trade processing services. Zeliade clients will access it via a dedicated market data management module that provides access to selected data extracts from third party data providers such as Markit. Zeliade claims the new functionality significantly enhances clients’ credit derivative trading and risk management systems by giving them access to over 12,500 daily CDS curves on over 2,600 individual entities, as well as comprehensive credit index reference data.

BNY ConvergEx Group’s Eze Castle Software announces record results in 2006

BNY ConvergEx Group, a provider of agency brokerage and investment technology solutions, has announced that member company Eze Castle Software (ECS) achieved record results in 2006. In 2006, ECS signed 58 new order management system (OMS) clients and 22 new compliance clients and completed over 90 product implementations. It increased revenue by nearly 35%, continued to expand functionality across its product suite, and completed the transformational deal to form BNY ConvergEx Group. Today, ECS products are used by nearly 300 buy-side firms world-wide with 90% trading through the ECS OMS.

Fixnetix to provide low-latency Infolect data over iX-Direct

Fixnetix, a provider of European low latency market data, and the London Stock Exchange yesterday announced a distribution deal under which the exchange’s Infolect data will be delivered to customers outside its existing network via Fixnetix’ iX-Direct low-latency data service.

LCH.Clearnet opts to buy out Euronext shareholding

LCH.Clearnet is to re-purchase the majority of the shares held by its largest shareholder, Euronext, which has held a stake in the clearing house since its Clearnet subsidiary was merged with London Clearing House (LCH) in 2003.

FIX CITY partners with Portware to offer integrated IOI and execution management solution

FIX CITY, a provider of software for FIX solutions, yesterday announced it will be partnering with Portware, a provider of execution and order management technology. The partnership will deliver an integrated Indication-of-Interest (IOI) distribution and trading tool to Portware's buy-side clients. It links FIX CITY's ioinet solution and Portware's execution management system (EMS), providing buy-side firms with access to pre-trade decision support and the ability to receive IOIs directly into their order blotters.

LatentZero integrates EMS functionality into its Minerva OMS

LatentZero, a provider of front-office systems for the buy-side, yesterday announced the launch of an integrated order management and execution management system. Capstone Minerva, the company's OMS, now has an integrated EMS trading module designed for asset managers. The new system means that buy-side traders no longer need to stage orders to third-party EMSs, manage orders in two or more separate systems, or be hampered by inefficient, error-prone workflow, the firm says.

UniCredit HypoVereinsbank selects Kx Systems for real-time cross-asset trading

Kx Systems, a provider of time series analysis and databases, has announced that HypoVereinsbank is to use Kx's cross-asset database system for its proprietary trading desks in Munich and London. The Kx solution is being used to capture millions of streaming market ticks for immediate real-time analysis and historical data analytics, the firm says.

DTCC expands dramatically in London to support local clients

The American central securities depository, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), has expanded its London office. A new facility at Broadgate West in the City will enable the CSD to support a growing clientele in Europe and beyond, says DTCC - and especially London-based users of its OTC derivatives trade matching and data warehousing services.
