Calypso launches new confirmation matching module

Calypso Technology, a provider of capital markets software, has launched a confirmation matching module that streamlines the payments workflow process by automatically matching incoming and outgoing SWIFT confirmation messages.
Already in production at one client site, the new module is available to all licensed Calypso users and will improve operational efficiency by eliminating the likelihood of manual errors, says the firm. The confirmation matching module utilises SWIFT MT300 messages to generate and send out FX confirmations, with support for additional messaging standards in the pipeline.
"As volumes of messages continue to increase, eliminating manual errors is increasingly a priority for our clients," says Guillaume Weeger, vice President, education and training, Calypso.
