Trading and connectivity provider Orc Software has signed a deal with Australian financial services group BBY to supply low-latency, high-throughput connectivity to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

“Orc’s solutions allow our customers to trade both equity and options on the exchange via BBY’s membership,” said Glenn Rosewall, managing director and CEO of

BBY, which provides stockbroking, corporate advisory and asset management services. “Orc Software is well known in the Australian market for providing exchange members with market making; working with them to extend the offering to DMA for non-members provides professional traders globally with a new option for accessing the Australian market.”
