Troy Asset Management’s head of execution departs

James Cooper resigns from position after almost four years with the firm.

The head of execution at Troy Asset Management has departed the firm after almost four years, according to someone familiar with the matter.

A spokesperson confirmed James Cooper resigned from his position although a replacement is yet to be found.

Cooper began working at Troy Asset Management in September 2013 and was responsible for multi-asset trading, fund operations and performance of four teams.

This included regulatory responsibilities for MiFID II’s unbundling, trade and transaction reporting, best execution and electronic trading activities.

Cooper previously worked at Societe Generale’s corporate and investment banking division as a director for long and short equities.
