Goldman Sachs loses European execution services head to BTIG

Christopher Rollins spent more than 15 years with Goldman Sachs working across equities, cash equities and derivatives.

Christopher Rollins, managing director and co-head of European execution services at Goldman Sachs, has departed for a role with BTIG.

He will assume the role of head of US execution services in New York, reporting to Richard Blank, head of global equities at the firm.

Rollins has been tasked with developing client solutions and growing BTIG’s institutional equity business in the US.

Blank commented that Rollins’ strong industry relationships and expertise will strengthen BTIG’s institutional equities business.

“With account coverage experience in the U.S. and Europe, he has a unique understanding of how to successfully navigate an evolving global marketplace for clients,” he said.

Rollins spent more than 15 years with Goldman Sachs in several leadership roles, having spent 10 years in New York before moving to London to take head up execution services in Europe for the bank.
