Bardin Hill Investment Partners implements SS&C Eze OMS for fixed income trading

The SS&C Technologies Eze OMS and Geneva systems is being used by Bardin Hill Investment Partners to manage its fixed income strategies and fund accounting.

Credit manager Bardin Hill Investment Partners has implemented the order management system (OMS) from SS&C Technologies’ Eze Software to bolster its fixed income strategies.

Bardin Hill has replaced its previous credit-focused OMS provider with Eze to merge its business onto a single cross-asset platform. Eze OMS supports Bardin’s Hills trading and operations for equities, performing credit, opportunistic credit, litigation finance, UCITS, and private equity vehicles.

“Our decision to partner with SS&C Technologies has enabled us to tap into an unparalleled array of choices of curated software and services solutions to support all of our business lines,” said Jatish Panji, vice president of information technology at Bardin Hill.

Panji added that the system’s ability to handle all investment types and asset classes across the enterprise, alongside security profiling, compliance checks, and P&L reporting, also played a part in its selection.

“Our fixed income team has been very happy with the switch to Eze OMS and the improvements to their trading workflows and overall efficiency. The fact that we made the switch amid a pandemic is testament to SS&C’s business continuity strength, regardless of market conditions,” said Panji.

Elsewhere, Bardin Hill has also implemented the Geneva platform from SS&C Technologies for its fund account services. Integrating the Eze OMS and Geneva systems enables Bardin Hill’s trade data to flow to the accounting platform and then to further third-parties, SS&C Technologies added.

“We are pleased to bring Eze OMS’s robust fixed-income capabilities to Bardin Hill and help consolidate its book of business on one platform,” said Michael Hutner, general manager of SS&C Eze. “We are committed to providing a seamless experience to investment managers and look forward to leveraging our organisation’s full power to help our clients grow.”

SS&C Technologies acquired Eze Software in October 2018 for $1.45 billion. The trading systems provider offers its OMS and execution management system (EMS) solutions to asset managers. Last month, SS&C Technologies confirmed BlueCrest Capital Management had installed the Eze EMS to boost its multi-asset trading processes.
