Börse Berlin’s Equiduct Trading platform has signed up to use data solutions provider Wombat’s OneTick data management software.
OneTick is designed to handle large volumes of real-time data rates and analytic requests, and provides native support for single and consolidated order books.
Equiduct will use OneTick to collect and store real-time data, such as trades, quotes and order books, across European exchanges. This will support Equiduct’s volume weighted best bid and offer (VBBO) benchmark, as well as their market data backfill and historical trading data retrieval.
“OneTick’s off-the-shelf consolidated order book analytics facilitate the demand for real-time VBBO for our PartnerEx program and is helping us towards our goal of achieving best price execution with our European benchmark,” said Willy Van Stappen, chief operating officer of Equiduct Trading, in a statement.
