EquiLend Europe has hired Rowena Brown as vice president, client relationship management & sales, with responsibility for working with existing and prospective clients. She will be based in London.
Brown joins Equilend from SecFinex, where she held a position of senior sales representative. She also brings with her over 10 years experience covering custody, securities lending and collateral management.
SecFinex, a securities lending multilateral trading facility, was shutdown last December, with NYSE Euronext, one of the business’s shareholders saying that the platform had failed to gain traction in the adverse economic climate
