JPMorgan Asset Management has appointed two executives to join its growth team. Gregory Luttrell has joined JPMorgan Asset Management as a senior portfolio manager. He will manage a new growth strategy that the company says it intends to launch in the third quarter. Nancy Hoch joins as a consumer analyst dedicated to large cap growth products.

"The team's expansion underscores our commitment to becoming a major player in the growth market," says Christopher Jones, chief investment officer, JPMorgan's growth team. "To do this we will continue to further differentiate JPMorgan by broadening our product mix and adding to our talent pool," he continues.

Luttrell joins JPMorgan from TIAA-CREF, where he was responsible for managing $13 billion of growth fund assets and a team of managers. While at CREF, Luttrell also launched and ran a mid-cap growth fund which he managed from 2001 to 2004. Hoch joins the firm after five years as a sell-side retail analyst in JPMorgan's investment bank.
