ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services says it has appointed John Matthews as Securities Lending Client Service Manager.
Matthews joins the bank from BGI, where he was Product Manager, Fixed Income Lending, and will report to Mark Tidy, Securities Lending Product Manager.
David Cantillon has left Goldman Sachs to join Morgan Stanley in London as a Managing Director and Head of European Prime Brokerage.
Cantillon joins Morgan Stanley from Goldman Sachs where he worked for 12 years, most recently as head of Prime Brokerage Sales in Europe. In this role, he was responsible for business development and sales of prime brokerage and swaps products to hedge funds. Between 1998 and 2004, Cantillon was Head of European Convertible Bonds at Goldman Sachs.
Tullett Prebon Information says Chris Dearie has been apppointed as Head of its Global Direct Feeds service.
Dearie is charged with driving Tullett Prebon's Direct Feeds product, which ams to deliver independent OTC market data.

Nordic exchange group OMX and Nord Pool, the Nordic power exchange, have signed an agreement to extend their existing collaboration on trading and clearing technology.
OMX will provide a single platform for trading and clearing. The agreement is valid until 2015 and includes support and operation of the integrated system, which will be used for the energy derivatives market.
From today, the Spanish derivatives exchange MEFF has expanded its futures and options contracts to cover all the underlying shares in the IBEX 35, and PRISA.
This means MEFF now provides 100% coverage of the Index’s capitalisation, both with futures and with options.

Credit derivatives trade matching and processing services provider T-Zero has hired George Harrington as Chief Operating Officer.
Launched in the summer of 2005, T-Zero claims to have gained strong momentum over the past year as an increasing number of dealers, buy-side market participants and prime brokers sign on for the service. The company claims to have experienced a 338% growth rate in the second half of 2006 compared to the first have of the year.
Patsystems says Nomura Securities International, Inc. in the US has bought its complete trading platform, including the Pro-Mark front-end for high-volume professional traders. Also in the initial phase, Patsystems will provide Nomura with access to CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange), CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade), Euronext.liffe and Eurex. This contract follows Patystems' announcement, earlier this month, of a contract signed with US-based Midas Securities to provide Midas with front-end trading systems.
The former head of programme and algorithmic trading initiatives at HSBC Securities, Jim Leman, has joined Westwater as Managing Director and Principal. He becomes head of Westwater Corp’s Capital Markets Practice.
