Incoming head brings a wealth of experience to the firm, having previously served at Optiver, Deutsche Bank, SocGen and Exane.

Cousens had been with Citi for two and a half years as its head of platforms sales after also formerly serving with Barclays and Credit Suisse.

Incoming head of trading had been with Winterflood Securities for almost 20 years.

The past week saw appointments from LSEG, Citi, UBS and GTN, alongside a departure from Waverton Investment Management.

Incoming CEO brings over 25 years’ experience to the firm, having previously served at Saxo Bank, Barclays and Merrill Lynch.

After 14 years with the firm, the head of trading at Waverton Investment Management has moved to a new role as European equity trader with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.  

Citi appoints a new head of markets for ASEAN; while UBS reshuffles its APAC team with a new head of global markets for Australia and a new head of derivatives and solutions for Australia.  

The past week saw appointments from Deutsche Bank – a hire announced just before news of Credit Suisse’s acquisition by UBS – alongside hires from Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Panmure Gordon.

Incoming head has strong ESG credentials; joins from Nasdaq in New York. Former roles include chief product officer at Preqin, along with 12 years with S&P Global.  

New head joins from the embattled Credit Suisse, where she served for the last 12 years, most recently as head of EMEA high yield trading and sector strategy.
