Technology provider Linedata has signed up OFI Mandats for its back office software as a service offering (SaaS) Linedata Chorus.
OFI Mandats, an investment management provider for insurance funds, said migration to the SaaS will relieve its customers of many of the technical and administrative tasks they currently face so they can focus on their core business. It will also enable the firm to modernise and secure its IT solutions.
"To achieve these goals, we have designed a comprehensive, modular and open offering that uses Linedata Chorus and is hosted by Linedata, but where we manage its configuration and future development. In short, we offer our customers a fully customized and secure 'thin-client' environment," said Pascale Gabriel, head of IT at OFI Mandats.
Linedata Chorus is closely integrated with the software firm's Linedata Longview tool for portfolio management and trading. It ensures that specific contraints linked to insurance investments as part of Solvency II are taken into account.
Chorus provides redundant backup sites replicated in real-time to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster and can rapidly scale resources to respond to changes in activity.
