Nordea expands SimCorp Dimension functionality

Asset manager Nordea Investment Management has gone live with new broker strategy functionality in technology provider SimCorp's Dimension order management system (OMS) for ten of its brokers.

The new broker strategy functionality lets the asset manager use information from the FIX files from brokers to directly render the relevant strategies on a trade's order ticket in the OMS.

"Placing trades via FIX to execute broker algos directly from the SimCorp Dimension order manager blotter is quick and easy," said Per Moller, global head of trading at Nordea Investment Management. "We now have teir-1 broker strategies embedded into our core straight-through-processing order execution and post-trade processes, so there is no real need for other equity execution management systems."
