Solutions provider 4sight Financial Software plans to offer members of Italian stock exchange Borsa Italiana connectivity to the London Stock Exchange’s (LSE) TradElect trading platform through 4sight’s Connect solution.
This will be of particular use to members of MTA, Borsa Italiana’s electronic equities market, who are migrating to the LSE’s TradElect platform following the recent merger of the two exchanges. According to 4sight,
Connect offers them sub-millisecond latency between trading systems and the financial markets.
4sight is already an accredited LSE TradElect software provider and believes it is well placed to facilitate the additional connectivity required for the transition of MTA listed stocks.
As Connect only provides connectivity, 4sight believes it will be useful to Borsa Italiana members who wish to connect an existing OMS or any other trading system to the exchange using a single solution.
