Appointment brings more than three decades of experience across sales trading, execution and buy-side trading, The TRADE understands. 

New hire joins after nearly three years at HSBC where he most recently served as head of cash equity trading EMEA.  

The past week saw a run of senior hires across trading desks, from fixed income sales to low touch and market structure, including a notable rehire at global head level. 

The exchange began live trading in July 2026 and is currently building out its franchise to launch ETPs, corporate transfers and IPOs over the coming months.  

New hire joins the firm’s Hong Kong office as an algorithmic sales trader and brings experience from firms including Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg and Instinet.  

The new hire was formerly a managing director at Stifel and joins the firm as it continues to build out its fixed income sales business, The TRADE can reveal. 

New hire returns to the bank after a 10-year stint at DTCC, having previously worked at Lehman Brothers and Kemper Clearing Corp.

New hire joins after nearly seven years at Berenberg, where he most recently served as an electronic equities trader.  

New hire has also previously worked at Jump Trading, Sun Trading and JP Morgan.
