Kepler Cheuvreux integrates KCx with FlexTrade Systems to enhance client workflows

The new offering makes KCx’s data source available on FlexTrade System’s AI assistant, FlxAI and follows increased AI uptake on trading desks.

Kepler Cheuvreux is collaborating with FlexTrade Systems to make KCx’s data source available onto FlexTrade Systems’ AI offering, in a bid to drive future agent-to-agent communication.

The new solution will allow clients to access KCx’s analytical suite directly from FlexTrade’s AI assistant, FlxAI. The aim is to enhance workflow efficiency and transform analytics feedback in real-time.

The offering aligns with an increasing uptake of conversational AI on trading desks, according to the firms, and FlxAI users are set to be able to actively query KCx liquidity drivers through natural language commands – which the workflow will eventually streamline to produce as narratives which can then be easily read by clients.

The new offering is also set to explain factors such as slippage drivers, venue performance and hidden cost patterns, with KCx’s analytics expected to learn from evolving market conditions through the integration of AI.

Chris McConville, global head of execution services and trading at KCx, said: “KCx is introducing this new capability through FlexTrade, which aligns with our mission to provide accessible, high-value insights directly into our clients’ workflows.

“Rather than only focusing on AI-driven execution algorithms, our priority is to enhance workflow efficiency — improving decision support, reducing manual processes, and simplifying interactions with complex data. This enables traders and portfolio managers to focus on more strategic, high-value tasks.”

Future developments are also expected – KCx is set to further expand the offering with its own AI chat agent launch, with the aim of delivering additional proprietary data points and working order content to users directly.

This will also allow FlxAI to extend to this AI agent to provide answers to KCx directed user questions.

“Our existing integration with KCx’s analytic suite has proved popular with clients looking to source high-quality, adaptive market intelligence,” said Andy Mahoney, managing director, EMEA at FlexTrade.

“Integrating the KCx data source into FlxAI was a natural step to extend the coverage to third-party data, which is relevant, useful, and timely to users.  As the sell-side finds new and unique ways to deliver content to clients, we aim to provide a seamless interface to access all services available.”

The collaboration follows the recent expansion of KCx’s offering. In May 2025, the platform introduced a new smart order router (SOR) called KCx Spark, to enhance client execution and improve liquidity capture.
