ASX and SGX cooperate on market connectivity

The Australian Securities Exchange has announced that customers in the Australian liquidity centre and on ASX Net can now connect to the Singapore Exchange’s co-location data centre.

The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has  announced that customers in the Australian liquidity centre and on ASX Net in Australia can now connect to the Singapore Exchange’s co-location data centre using ASX’s international low latency network, ASX Net Global.

The service allows ASX customers in the Australian liquidity centre or on ASX Net to connect to Singapore brokers at the Singapore co-location data centre and receive market data from the Singapore Exchange.

Users of Singapore’s co-location data centre have been able to connect to the Australian liquidity centre via ASX Net Global since September 2012.

The Australian liquidity centre provides co-location services and data centre space to customers, offering communication, execution and information services including fast access to ASX liquidity, including ASX Trade Match, Centre Point and ASX 24.
