Individual has also previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs; move coincides with the firm’s head of public-side sales, EMEA, transition to become vice-chair of EMEA global markets. 

Individual brings more than two decades of industry experience to his new position, and has also previously worked at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Nomura and Lehman Brothers.  

The move marks a further expansion of the service’s current clearing house coverage, which also includes LSEG’s LCH, CME Clearing and Japan Securities Clearing Corporation (JSCC).  

Individual has previously worked at SEB, Arctic Securities, Nordea Markets, Natixis and Morgan Stanley.  

Individual initially joined the exchange in 2021 to drive growth and operations and previously spent more than 15 years at State Street.  

The offering is expected to support the commission in promoting market integrity and follows recent growth in traditional and digital asset classes.  

Individual joins the firm after spending nearly two decades at T. Rowe Price.  

The partnership will now cover EquiLend’s full suite of post-trade and trading automation. 

The move is also set to support the BTON’s growth in the US, following the firm’s launch in the region in January 2025.  

Appointment follows other recent Citi hires from JP Morgan in recent months.
