BNY Mellon launches new white labelling solution for its LiquidityDirect platform

Morgan Stanley Investment Management will be the first to adopt the new offering, delivering efficient cash management solutions to clients.

BNY Mellon has launched a new white labelling service for its LiquidityDirect platform, offering financial institutions a liquidity management solution for their end clients.

LiquidityDirect’s technology can be leveraged by financial institutions seeking to include short-term investments in their offerings suite to provide an improved user experience through a single sign-on for their clients.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) will be the first financial institution to adopt the new white labelling service offering.

BNY Mellon’s platform, combined with MSIM’s global client base, will set a new industry standard for delivering efficient cash management solutions to clients, according to  a joint statement.

“In launching our white labelling offering, we are broadening access to the LiquidityDirect platform for financial institutions, enabling them to create an end-to-end, holistic user experience for their clients,” said George Maganas, head of global liquidity services at BNY Mellon.

MSIM Global Liquidity Solutions has over $353 billion in assets under management and provides cash management solutions, expertise and resources to clients.

Building off these capabilities, the firm has partnered with treasury groups to improve the automation of its cash management function, alongside offering an efficient method to invest in money market funds through MSIM’s money market investment portal. 

“The strategic collaboration between BNY Mellon and Morgan Stanley Investment Management is designed to deliver a highly differentiated combination of technology, seamless connectivity, and dedicated client service to treasury groups globally,” said Fred McMullen, co-head of global liquidity at MSIM. 

“This will allow us to increase the depth of our platform technology solutions and widen the reach of our offering to our client base.”
