Telecoms company BT is to provide connectivity to Chi-X Canada, an alternative trading system (ATS), through the Radianz Shared market Infrastructure. The company says this will allow more than 10,500 financial services sites worldwide access to Chi-X Canada and its no-cost market data.

“This connectivity arrangement with BT provides market participants with greater choice in how they route orders to and receive pricing information from Chi-X Canada,” said Tal Cohen, head of Chi-X Canada, in a statement.

Chris Church, managing director, Radianz Services, BT Global Financial Services, added, “By working with BT, Chi-X Canada gains faster access to customers and the opportunity to shift more resources to its core business.”

Chi-X Canada joins nearly 60 execution venues worldwide that distribute their market data services or enable access to trading applications over the Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure.
