BTIG bolsters London office with new sales traders

Institutional trading and brokerage firm BTIG has expanded its London-based sales trading team with two new hires.

Institutional trading and brokerage firm BTIG has expanded its London-based sales trading team with two new hires. 

 its London office, hiring experienced sales traders Margie Sadleir and Daniel Muller. 

Margie Sadleir joins BTIG as a senior emerging markets sales trading with 12 years of experience. Previously, she worked for agency broker CA Cheuvreux where she launched the firm’s emerging markets business. She has also worked at Fidelity International.

Daniel Muller joins as a senior European sales trader, with a focus on Swiss and European clients. He worked as an equity sales trader for RBS for 16 years and had stints at BNP Paribas and SG Warburg. He also has buy-side experience, having traded at Bankers Trust in Geneva for five years.

“Building on the additions we made in 2012, these new hires in London will help us to better serve clients in Europe,” said Matt Cyzer, president and head of European equities for BTIG. “With emerging markets and other European sectors being a focus with many of our clients, Margie and Daniel expand BTIG’s range of client coverage and trading opportunities.”
