Deutsche Bank’s suite of global equity algorithms and futures execution capabilities are now available to buy-side traders via RealTick, the multi-broker, cross-asset execution management system (EMS) from Townsend Analytics.

RealTick users can now access Deutsche Bank algorithmic strategies including Stealth, Target Close and Optimal Portfolio Execution (OPX), as well as custom strategies. Clients can also execute algorithmic, worked and direct to market orders via Deutsche Bank’s autobahn global trading platform and leverage the bank’s smart order router to access equity liquidity across multiple venues. In addition RealTick users can execute futures contracts directly on the market via Deutsche Bank’s newly integrated DMA capabilities.

Michel Finzi, global head of business development for RealTick, said the Deutsche Bank algorithms had been incorporated into the EMS using Algorithmic Trading Definition Language (ATDL), a standard language developed by FIX Protocol Limited to accelerate availability of algorithms. “Our implementation of ATDL significantly speeds up the deployment of new algorithms from the broker to the trader. RealTick clients can route orders to Deutsche Bank’s strategies, including the ability to overlay the broker’s ‘I would’ strategy,” he said.

RealTick’s global multi-broker network now includes Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, BNY Convergex, CA Cheuvreux, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Instinet, JP Morgan, MF Global, Morgan Stanley, Nomura Securities, RBC Capital Markets, Societe Generale, and UBS.

The RealTick EMS was recently upgraded to include enhanced single stock and list trading functionality such as advanced benchmark analysis and industry sector management, plus dynamic navigation and order entry tools, as well as sophisticated options trading capabilities.
