German exchange group Deutsche Börse has received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) to establish a representative office in Beijing. The office will be operational later this year. Jianhong Wu has been appointed as the groups chief representative officer in China.
“With our representative office in Beijing we want to further strengthen and expand our relationships within the Chinese market, which is one of the most important emerging markets to us,” said Andreas Preuss, deputy CEO, Deutsche Börse, in a statement. “We are looking forward, together with our partners, to contribute to the further development of the Chinese financial market.”
