EBS, the electronic FX business of ICAP, has hired Simon Winn as head of sales for Asia Pacific. He will be based in Hong Kong.
He will report to EBS’ global head of sales, Gerard Varjacques. The firm says that he will drive new business in Asia Pacific for the EBS product suite and seek to increase the firm’s Asian footprint.
Winn joins from 360T, where he was head of sales for Asia, covering a wide range of instruments and customers.
He was previously head of e-FX Sales for Asia at Commerzbank and spent a decade at Société Générale, moving to Asia during that time to set up and manage the trading desks in Singapore and Hong Kong in the role of director of spot FX.
