Former SGX CEO joins Kouclo Group

Magnus Bocker, former CEO of SGX to head up Kouclo Group’s capital markets and listing businesses.

Magnus Bocker ex-chief executive officer at the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) has been appointed chief strategy officer at Chinese enterprise, Kouclo Group.

Bocker will head up the group’s capital and listing businesses overseeing strategic plans and resources. 

He worked at SGX for five years as chief executive officer, and has over 20 years’ experience working at various exchanges in senior positions.

JP Pillay, chairman at SGX said Bocker “has distinguished himself in most areas of the exchange business and has a good understanding of the interplay of forces in the global exchange community.”

Bocker was also reportedly involved in the merger of OMX and Nasdaq for the Nordic region.

Li Libin, chief executive officer of Kouclo Group said Bocker will help the firm “seize opportunities in the new global commerce era” and “maintain corporate sustainability.”

Kouclo Group has built an “internet ecosystem” in recent years, which consists of six platforms – the e-commerce, the payments finance, the communication facility, the cross-border e-commerce, the education platform, and the cadre network.
