Key functionality

Clients can trade currency futures using Bloomberg
Tradebook Futures, the firm’s multi-broker execution platform, which offers
direct market access and algorithms on a front end designed for futures
traders.

Key features include multi-broker functionality and links
60 brokers across 35 futures exchanges. Clients can use proprietary algorithms
to execute customised spreads created on the Bloomberg Professional service and
the system can create five different front ends for traders to choose from
based on speed trading, spreads, lists, single contracts and application
programming interface. The system also offers full integration with Bloomberg
analytics and Launchpad functionality.

Clients can trade FX spot rates in 43 currency pairs on
the Tradebook FX electronic communication network (ECN). Tradebook operates
this FX exchange, provides front end trading functionality and algorithms to
execute with. The Tradebook FX ECN is an anonymous platform where traders can
see bid/offer and market depth.

Advanced algorithms include VWAP for FX as well as complex
order strategies, and the system integrates with third-party order management
systems.

Market coverage

Instruments covered include all major currency
futures contracts on various global exchanges.

Customer support

For FX trading the systems offer 24/6 coverage for technical and trading
support, with FX specialists in New York, London and Singapore

Customisation

Clients can utilise proprietary solutions and
Tradebook invests in integration with those solutions. Bloomberg Tradebook also
customises its offering based on client strategy, with the development of
proprietary algorithms and front end modifications offered.
