Liquidity sourcing
Instinet’s portfolio trading gives access to cash
and electronic flow via its fully integrated internal dark pool matching
engine, Blockmatch. It offers the ability to source liquidity via a broad
client base who understand that the agency model allows them to safely divulge
the full picture, reducing the potential for information leakage.
Transitions
Instinet manages equity execution for a number of
transition managers, and uses its global platform to manage cash across sub
accounts, sectors, currencies and regions, as required.
Analytics
Instinet offers a powerful suite of transaction
cost analytics and visualisation tools designed to guide users through all
phases of the investment cycle. The suite’s three components – Indigo, Insight,
and TradeSpex– work together to define optimal execution strategies, monitor
trades in real time and analyse completed orders.
ETF capabilities
Instinet can manage creation/redemption for many
leading ETF providers and also has access into a number of proprietary
creation/redemption systems.
Future plans
The firm plans to extend its market access further into the Frontier space to take coverage out to around 95% of FTSE Frontier.
