Rapid Addition’s u-Trader OMS allows users to place Equity trades with their counterparties and, where available, directly onto an exchange. Users can create orders and send cancellations and amendments. Deal tickets can also be created direct from the blotter for faster order creation. A market ticker window is also available which can be populated with the stocks of the user’s choosing.
The u-broker EMS enables brokers to receive FIX-based order flow. Networks currently supported are Autex, London Stock Exchange, ITG Net and Marco Polo Network. Users can fill, reject, override, orders and respond to cancel and amend requests. Assets supported include equities, options, CFDs, and futures and portfolio orders can be accepted or rejected en masse. Allocations are also supported.
The trade blotter provides visual alerts when the status of an order changes and optional, customisable, audio cues are also available. Blotters are fully configurable by the user to allow them to see only those columns they choose. Archived orders are searchable and can be exported to Excel. The self-admin feature allows authorised users to manage internal users and counterparties (where allowed by the network provider) without helpdesk assistance.
Rapid Addition supports FIX 4.2 with plans to extend to 4.4 very soon. The company provides access to any FIX ATDL enabled strategies.
The u-Trader OMS can be configured to receive both FIX and ITCH messages. A market data window is also available which can be populated with the desired universe of stocks.
