TradeSmart offers a customisable front-end graphical user interface and low-latency advanced packaging tool. The EMS integrates multiple dealers, their algo offerings, and all asset classes onto a single access point across markets. TradeSmart facilitates liquidity aggregation across exchanges and liquidity pools, connecting to portfolio and order management systems to ensure complete integration with buy-side workflow. A quarter of clients are located in Asia-pacific, 40% in Europe, 5% in Latin America and 30% in the US. Clients comprise 30% asset manager, 40% hedge funds, 15% banks and brokers and 15% private banks.

Sourcing options

The EMS is offered as a software-as-a-service model, which enables rapid deployment of new functionality and lower operational costs. TradeSmart supports proprietary XMS or ATDL protocols.

Counterparty connectivity

TradingScreen operates TradeNet, a FIX network that allows users to choose their preferred method of connecting to counterparts.

TradeSmart is also integrated with TradePrime, which incorporates the key workflows an alternative asset manager requires on a single platform. TradePrime includes comprehensive order management system functionality including risk, compliance, net asset value calculation and post-trade processing.

Asset classes

TradingScreen supports listed and OTC fixed income, equities, derivatives, funds, warrants, commodities, foreign exchange, forwards, currency swaps, exchange traded funds, structured products, interest rate swaps, and convertibles.

Pre- and post-trade analytics

TradeSmart integrates TradingScreen TCS, which includes many reports, delivery options and consulting services. Transactions executed on TradeSmart as well as those recorded on external systems can be included. TCA-in-a-Box is a specialised presentation layer for compliance officers. Execution analyses profile intra-day trading activity at the individual trade level. Real-time transaction cost analysis monitors market conditions, fills and performance metrics for all orders on a trader’s blotter.
