The Tradetech Daily

UBS’s electronic trading team is made up of experienced salespeople and traders who seek to source, interpret and deliver views into any execution or behaviour of any strategy or venue intra-day. Team members work closely with clients to understand their business and alpha profile, in order to enhance execution techniques.

UBS maintains desks in all major financial centres
globally and provides live, regional technical and trading support across cash
equities, exchange-traded derivatives and foreign exchange.

The UBS algorithmic trading platform was designed
to be flexible, nimble and easy to customise. Client feedback to tools such as
Quant on Demand, its execution consulting framework, has been extremely
positive. A proprietary interactive iPad app, Quant on Demand Studio, provides
clients with flexibility to design and build algorithms in partnership with
their UBS coverage team.
