US-based trading communications firm IPC is now offering connectivity to Eurex, the derivatives exchange operated jointly by Deutsche Börse and SIX Swiss Exchange.

Eurex Exchange offers an actively traded market in euro-denominated equity index derivatives and Swiss franc-based exchange-traded derivatives. IPC’s global network connects financial centres across 700 cities in nearly 60 countries.

“Because our DirectConnect offering was designed and built exclusively for the financial markets, we are well positioned to provide global traders connecting to Eurex Exchange with the scalable, high-performance service that they require,” said Richard Petrie, vice president, EMEA network operations, IPC.

IPC Systems connects sell- and buy-side market participants, market data providers, inter-dealer brokers and trading venues globally. The company launched its financial extranet Connexus in London last month, allowing buy-side users to connect to trade services providers and some 50 liquidity venues globally via its cloud-based network.
