Investment bank Lehman Brothers has started the European phase of the global roll-out of Panorama, its real-time messaging and alerts service.

The product delivers real-time market commentary and the order status of clients’ algorithmic trading order flow for the global equities markets.

Panorama will become part of Lehman’s suite of electronic trading products. It is a customisable service that is designed to deliver alerts on market events, including price movements, volume activity and performance-based alerts on open and historical orders.

The kinds of alerts that can be set include those pertaining to algorithmic order flow, client holdings and securities in a custom-built list.

The delivery channels include AIM, email, FIX and RealTick. Panorama alerts will also be available on the Instant Bloomberg chat function on the Bloomberg Professional service

Adam Toms, managing director of program and electronic trading at Lehman Brothers said that the Panorama service is already available in the US and will be available in Asia in the near future.
