MDX Technology launches customisable broker screen for institutional investors with increased integration into messaging apps

New development will help accelerate time-to-market for brokers, as well as providing connectivity to messaging apps such as WhatsApp.

Data, price sharing and workflow solutions provider MDX Technology (MDXT) has launched a new customisable broker screen solution.

The new broker screen builds on MDXT’s existing Connect platform, which offers tailored features that can help brokers better navigate competitive markets.

The development will also allow clients to stream prices directly from their Excel whiteboard into the broker screen.

A messaging widget within the screen allows brokers to select and send prices to clients with a few clicks over messaging applications such as WhatsApp – removing the need for manual copy and paste which may be time consuming and prone to errors.

The addition of WhatsApp connectivity builds upon existing integrations with Symphony, Teams and Slack.

The broker screen is optimised for desktop and mobile. This includes all the pre-built MDXT connectivity to market data providers, pulling real-time data into a drag and drop workspace with custom curve calculations for each broker, according to the firm.

“We have developed this solution in response to demand from the broker community who need the ability to quickly create user-friendly customisable broker screens which get prices out faster, before markets move and opportunities are missed,” said Nigel Someck, chief executive of MDXT.

“Specifically, we’ve been working closely with voice brokers operating in the OTC markets who have long grappled with outdated processes and now recognise the need to blend modern technology and traditional operating models to grow.”
