Instinet Europe, the European subsidiary of global agency brokerage Instinet, has connected to NYSE Arca Europe, the pan-European multilateral trading facility (MTF) launched by exchange group NYSE Euronext on Monday.

The link will grant Instinet Europe’s institutional clients access to the MTF.

“Successfully connecting to NYSE Arca Europe marks another milestone in the continued development of our smart order routing capabilities,” said Richard Balarkas, CEO of Instinet Europe, in a statement. “Instinet’s global client base will be able to access NYSE Arca Europe via sales traders, DMA or our Instinet Execution Experts algorithms.”

NYSE Arca Europe offers trading for markets in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, and plans to roll out UK and Irish stocks in April. Trading on the MTF will be free until April as part of a three-week-long launch promotion, after which it will charge 0.15 basis points for both passive and aggressive orders.
