Post-trade services provider Omgeo has appointed Ted Leveroni as executive director of derivatives strategy and external relations. In his new role, Leveroni will be based at Omgeo’s Boston, Massachusetts office and will report to Clare Fraser, managing director of strategy at Omgeo.

Leveroni joins Omgeo from financial services firm State Street, where he most recently held the position of vice president, global product manager of collateral services. Prior to this, he was head of North American business development for State Street’s investment manager services business and managed the equity and listed options trading desk for BankBoston.

Leveroni holds a Masters of business administration from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, a Juris Doctor degree from the university of Connecticut School of Law and a bachelor of arts in economics from Fiarfield University.

“Leveroni joins Omgeo at an important stage in the growth phase for Omgeo,” said Fraser. “I look forward to his extensive experience delivering a significant contribution to our derivatives business.”

Omgeo recently hired Cornelia “Nellie” Dagdag as executive director of sales and solution delivery to head its Asia-Pacific push, in October 2011.
