A platform that brings together all the tools needed to execute a trade will create a new environment with users, rather than machines, at the centre of communications, according to Orange Business Services.

Designed as a personal trading assistant, Open Trade integrates voice, video, email and instant messaging in real time. The cloud-ready platform can be configured for individual users, who can host up to 30 conversations and conference calls simultaneously. As well as contact management, the terminal shows users whether traders’ contacts are available and how best to contact them.

Open Trade supports integration with business applications, including CRM, and comes in single- and double-screen versions.

“With Open Trade’s flexibility and efficient content management capabilities we have been able to increase our reactivity to market changes and offer better customer relations,” said Olivier Bisiaux, manager of information systems at financial services firm Global Equities, which trialled the platform. “The system is easy to understand and the customisation options offer more comfort for users.”
