QSG hires research director

Quantitative Services Group (QSG) has appointed Dan Bukowski as director of research. In his new role, Bukowski will lead the analyst teams responsible for QSG’s equity research, systematic stock-selection models and trading analysis products.

In the near term, Bukowski will focus on validating QSG’s new speciality data sets, new industry specific models and alpha-based trading research.

Bukowski has more than 20 years of experience in the quantitative finance industry. He worked at Citigroup Asset Management in New York for eight years in roles managing investment teams around the globe. Ultimately, Bukowski became CIO of global equities at the firm, managing teams responsible for portfolio management, fundamental research, quantitative research, asset allocation and trading. Before joining Citigroup, Bukowski was director of quantitative research for Zurich Kemper Investments and held similar roles at IDS Financial Services and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
