Quod Financial, an advanced execution provider, has appointed Andy Menzies executive vice president, sales and marketing. Formerly vice president of worldwide sales for Apama, the algorithmic trading division of Progress Software, Menzies will be responsible for building the company's brand in electronic trading across all segments of the capital markets.
Reporting directly to Ali Pichvai, founder and managing director, Quod Financial, Menzies brings more than 20 years of software industry experience to Quod Financial. Menzies will work with Pichvai to enhance Quod Financial's offering by building on its execution capability in financial services combined with its network of partner organisations.
"Liquidity is fragmenting, new trading venues are emerging, and capital markets participants lack cross-asset trading solutions," comments Menzies. "Quod Financial's approach will be to differentiate through both technological strength, domain expertise and a focus on customer satisfaction," he continues.
