Omgeo, a post-trade, pre-settlement services provider, has appointed Tim Lind managing director, strategic planning. Reporting directly to Marianne Brown, president and CEO, he is also a member of Omgeo’s executive team.
The firm says the addition of Mr. Lind to Omgeo underscores its ongoing commitment to deepening its footprint in the post-trade space through growth regionally and via additional asset classes. Mr. Lind will focus on leveraging internal and external partnerships to provide business strategy leadership and guidance for executive decisions and ensure that all business decisions continue to be supported by sound operational, market and financial analysis.
"Tim Lind's track record in the industry is second to none," states Brown. "He brings to Omgeo a deep understanding of our space and the perspective to help us achieve our strategic goals for growth in the near- and long-term. I am confident Tim will be a key contributor to Omgeo's success and am thrilled to include him among our leadership."
"Omgeo is a market leader in the development and deployment of post-execution, pre-settlement solutions for the global securities industry," says Mr. Lind. "My experience with financial messaging, straight-through processing and post-execution operations complements Omgeo's strategic objectives. I look forward to working with Marianne and the executive team to identify and execute upon opportunities for growth."
