Tim Stanley joins RTS to head electronic trading software sales

Systems vendor RTS Realtime Systems Group (RTS) says that Tim Stanley has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Global Sales. He will be based in Chicago at the company’s U.S. headquarters and report directly to the Board of Directors.

Stanley joins RTS from Transaction Network Services, where he served as Vice President of Sales in the Financial Service Division for the past eight years. He has held a number of management and sales positions in financial services organizations, including Sector Inc, Cable & Wireless and Reuters America.

“Tim will play an important role in helping us expand on our rapidly growing business,” says Steffen Gemuenden, RTS Co-CEO. “We are pleased to welcome him to the organization and look forward to bringing his significant management and sales experience to our team.”

Stanley’s responsibilities include the overall global sales business plan, growth, management and continuing education of the sales force.

Founded in 1992, RTS designs multi-asset electronic trading software. It claims user connections to 85 exchanges and liquidity pools around the world through trading screens and application programming interfaces (APIs).

RTS software products include the RTS Realtime Trading Desktop; the Java-based distributable front end eRTD; and the automated algorithmic trading platform RTD Tango. Clients include banks, brokers, commodity trading advisors (CTAs), hedge funds, market makers, investment firms, day trading companies, introducing brokers, exchanges and other market participants.
