Tradar, a software provider to the hedge fund industry, has created an interface to link its Insight portfolio management and accounting platform to Thomson Reuters’ reference and historical pricing systems. According to Tradar, this follows increased demand for Thomson Reuters’ data from its hedge fund customers.

Tradar customers will now be able to access Reuters Datascope Realtime pricing data through Tradar Insight’s live profit-and-loss monitoring function. In addition, Tradar customers can access Reuters DataScope Select’s reference data, end-of-day pricing information and corporate action details.

“We’re delighted to announce the new interface with Thomson Reuters," "Recently, we’ve found ourselves being approached by a growing number of hedge funds asking us for a wider choice of data providers and, in particular, for data from Thomson Reuters,” said Tony Swei, CEO, Tradar, in a statement. “We see it as our mission to integrate with a wide range of data providers and to give our customers the broadest possible choice.”
