Mona AlMagboul has joined JP Morgan as a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) FX trader.
Dubai-based AlMagboul joins the firm following a six-year stint at HSBC, where she most recently served as an associate director and MENA FX trader for the firm.

She has also covered G10 short term interest rate (STIR) trading for HSBC and served as a global markets analyst, working in locations across both Dubai and London.
JP Morgan declined to comment on the appointment when approached by The TRADE.
AlMagboul’s hire marks a further trading hire from HSBC to JP Morgan in the past year.
In October 2024, the firm appointed Kyle Hackett as a US rates trader, based in New York, following three and a half years at HSBC, as a global markets analyst and most recently as a US rates trader.
