Laurent Van Hassel has joined Dragonarch Partners as head of trading, based in New York.
Van Hassel brings more than two decades of industry experience to his new role. He joins the firm from Brookfield Asset Management where he served as a senior trader.
During his time as the asset manager, he traded across asset classes including global equities, futures, ETFs and FX.

Prior to this, he worked as an international trader at Spark Investment Management, a role he held for more than eight years.
Earlier in his career, he also worked in trading positions at Mirae Asset Global Investments, Exis Capital Management and JP Morgan.
